Photography is not simply about the tool. Regardless of your choice of camera, whether
it is a high end DSLR or a camera-phone, what matters is how you showcase your art
and tell your story.
For that matter, our stories are told with a device that today almost everyone has
access to. The camera phone that sits in your pocket and is carried with you
everywhere you go, has not only revolutionized photography for years to come, but
has created a strong and diverse art movement, along with extremely connected and
creative communities around the world.
Through the threshold of such social media outlets as Instagram, Blurb Mobile, EyeEm a wide range of people from young and old, to professional and amateur, have suddenly found themselves at the crux of a creative revolution.

Like any medium of self expression, whether it’s painting, drawing, playing an instrument…photography is a language, a way of expressing one’s feelings about a situation or a moment, and ultimately being able to encapsulate a story. But does it really matter the means by which we tell that story? Or did technology overshadow the true essence of storytelling? Today, almost any tool is at our disposal in which to tell that story. This is a FIRST for me. I’ve never made my iphoneography available for purchase. So for a LIMITED time, 7 days, you can buy this image. It’s an honor to be working with the great folks @canvaspop to offer this limited edition print of one of my favorite images.
For me this image is about change and acceptance. I needed a reminder to embrace the now, instead of fighting against my current state of mind, wishing for some other circumstance. So, I captured this as a reminder to allow events, people and the circumstance of the moment to influence and change me, even the weather. Embrace the now, even if it’s raining. Thanks! Embrace the now!
