Typewriter Text on Image | Tutorial
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to blend text onto an image, using iPhone apps, Filterstorm, Polamatic, The Amazing Type-Writer and SquareReady. Also I show you how to get non-square images ready for Instagram.

Thank you very much for sharing!
I tried to add the “typewritten” text as you described, and I found that the best blending mode is “Darken”… The paper of the typewritten text just went invisible with no trace. It all works also with the Blender app.

Nice tutorial. I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy that typewriter app. Bingo!
Another great tutorial, Koci. Thank you! I just learned another cool thing about Filterstorm. And I love The Amazing Typewriter with sound effects and all!
Thanks for this clear tutorial!
It will be very useful, and I was wondering how to make these “non square” pictures
Good news, the recent update for Polamatic includes HiRes. I think your tutorial made all the difference.
Thanx for sharing Richard. Yesterday there was an update of Polamatic, which gives now a (somewhat) higher output resolution of 1050x1275px. So that’s a slight improvement!
